You may recall when Dish Trip ventured on their San Antonio food journey to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Southwest Airlines. While the tasty recap is available for your hungry reading HERE, the story doesn’t tell the full tale of our friendship made with San Antonio Joe, one of the area’s well known food writers.
It was a pleasure meeting such a dapper fellow and staying in touch afterwards, especially when the “Average Joe from San Antonio” was eager to share stories from his food-infused journeys. Ironically, the most recent travel tale was above average, as Joe ventured to Munich for the infamous Oktoberfest.
One might expect to read about beer guzzling, massive crowds and lederhosen but you’ll have to check it out to see what Oktoberfest is all about, from a first hand foodie perspective.
