We recently caught wind that the very chic Georges’ in Wayne was getting in the “spirit” of the St. Patrick’s Day season by concocting themed cocktails.
Lucky for us (and our MainLineDish readers), Georges’ mixologist Josh Hantman was kind enough to reveal the recipe for one of these new drinks. And, after some sips of this luxurious ‘tail, we’re sure you’ll grab your green gear and skip over to Wayne to celebrate Saturday’s holiday with all of his signature creations.
Below, you’ll find the full recipe for creating one of Georges’ St. Patty’s Day cocktails, the Black and White Cookie Martini, which is available in-house for only this weekend for just $10.
Recipe: Black and White Cookie Martini
Ingredients:
- 3 oz of Guinness Stout
- 2 oz White Godiva chocolate liquor
- 1 oz White cream de Cacao
Method:
Take the Godiva chocolate liquor and the white cream de cacao and shake them together in a cocktail strainer. You can pour the Guinness into the martini glass first or you can pour the cocktail into the glass first.
Then you pour the other one over the back of a spoon into the glass and this will slow it down. This will cause it to separate so you have black on top and white on bottom. Or Vice versa. Comes out tasting like a cookie.
In addition to the rich, beer-infused drink, guests of Georges this weekend may also enjoy the Irish Eyes Cocktail, a blend of Michael Collins Irish Whiskey with green Crème De Menthe and cream, or the Irish Blond Martini, which splashes Michael Collins Irish Whiskey with orange curaçao, Fino Sherry and orange bitters.
Find Georges’ in Eagle Village Shops at 503 W. Lancaster Avenue in Wayne, PA. They’re also reachable by phone at 610-964-2588 or on online at georgesonthemainline.com.
