If you love beef and you love beer then here’s your chance to put those foodie passions toward a good cause. The Amy Woodward – Keep It Rolling Foundation is hosting a Beef and Beer on August 10th at Goshen Fire Company, Station 54 (1320 Park Avenue, West Chester). The purpose of this fundraiser is to offer a scholarship/grant for a deserving student each year who wishes to pursue paramedic certification or a degree in nursing. Since Amy Woodward has been an EMT and EMT instructor in Chester County, all while battling cancer, an individual of the health service industry is a perfect recipient of the event’s funds.
The Beef and Beer will take place from 5 to 11 p.m., and tickets may be acquired by emailing [email protected] or phoning one of the contacts listed below. There will be auctions, raffles and live music by Chester County Lawmen to keep the night rolling. Amy has always had a positive attitude through her struggles and she’s hoping many will arrive at the Beef and Beer with the same mentality, ready to make a difference in this world.
