Bob Trimble, known as The Wine Guy, is offering a few select wine classes during the month of April. Trimble has over thirty years of experience in the wine business, having worked for several vineyards and consulted with many restaurants on proper wine selection, storage and serving etiquette. We recently attended a wine dinner he hosted at Catherine’s Restaurant, where he entertained diners with his descriptions about South American wines.
In each class, you’ll taste approximately six different wines that are good examples of their type and reflect the region they come from. A multi-media presentations explains key concepts and explores the region being tasted. Classes are fun and relaxed, with a goal of making your more comfortable with buying and ordering wine.
Saturday, April 14th – “Exploring California.”
Saturday April 21st – “Giro d’Italia”
Saturday, April 28th – “Wine FUNdamentals”
Each class runs from 4-5:30 p.m. Cost is $49 per person and are held at the Brandywine Catering Banquet Facility, 1410 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford, PA. Reservations can be made at The Wine Guy.
