A chef of amazing culinary caliber is now just a hop away for Main Liners and nearby neighborhood dwellers. As recently announced by Valley Forge Casino Resort President and CEO Michael Bowman, Tony Clark will be joining the VFC kitchen crew. The celebrity chef who has earned many culinary awards, including the title of Philly’s best restaurant for Tony Clark’s in Philadelphia and Food and Wine Magazine’s Best New Chef in America, plans to come on board as the new Executive Chef at the resort’s premier restaurants Pacific Prime and Viviano.
“We’re really looking forward to sharing the Tony Clark experience with our guests,” said Bowman. “Anyone who’s tasted a Tony Clark dish knows why he was named one of America’s greatest chefs. There’s no better place to showcase that culinary talent than right here in the Valley.”
Aside from the accolades won for Clark’s astounding dishes, which draw influence from the cuisines of Spain, Thailand, and the French styles of Le Bernardin and Jean Georges, the new Valley Forge Casino employee also stars as the chef of Comcast’s nationally broadcast Rock Star Kitchen and appears regularly on The Chef’s Kitchen, an Emmy-nominated show based in Philadelphia. Clark, a Culinary Institute of America graduate, currently owns and operates The Old Grange in Cape May. His past experience includes a 10-year stint as the private chef of Norman and Suzanne Cohn, and positions at Four Seasons working under Chef Jean Marie LaCroix, Harry’s Savory Grill and Lairs Dutch Kitchen.
