WCU Debuts “She Loves Me,” Mayor Comitta Stars as Special Guest

West Chester’s Mayor, Carolyn T. Comitta, is prepared to show off her theatrical side for a large audience during the University’s performance of “She Loves Me.” The Mayor plans to appear as an irate customer in scene one during the October 25th and November 2nd performances. The play, which is based off the hit movie “You’ve Got Mail,” will entertain all ages with its touch of old world nostalgia, yet relevant topic of internet romances.

This year also marks the 50thAnniversary of WCU’s Department of Theater and Dance. A special reception will be held on October 25th at 6:00 p.m. (show at 8:00) to honor the longstanding “Broadway in our backyard.” Ticket proceeds will benefit the WCU Theatre Scholarships and Greater West Chester Chamber.
