By now you may know that our friends at Black Walnut Winery are always down to support a great, local cause and that’s certainly the case this evening. As Evan Brandt of The Mercury reported on Monday, they’ll be pitching in along side Bause Catering this evening, Wednesday, October 30, in Spring City, at a former bank that has been converted into a home. This will be the site for a $100 per-person Open House, which will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. to benefit the Foundation for Pottstown Education.
In addition to tasteful sips from the local winery and scrumptious snacks, attendees will be invited to “mine” a carrot cake in which a gemstone has been hidden. Spots are still available for those looking to get in on the deliciously good time and support a wonderful cause.
Find more details on The Mercury website and be sure to RSVP by calling the Foundation for Pottstown Education at 610-970-6616 or by emailing [email protected]..
