After appearing on QVC for a cooking segment on the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 4, iconic New Orleans chef Emeril Lagasse brought his nine corporate chefs to Avalon for a late night private dinner.
Avalon’s chef-owner John Brandt-Lee served seven courses. According to Philly.com, “the chefs ordered off the menu and Brandt-Lee sent out prosecco with burrata with his home-made tomato jam and also tripe and trotter risotto.” Chef Brandt-Lee took to Avalon’s Facebook to share that “Mr. Emeril Lagasse and his corporate chefs were well fed. (It was) A great honor to cook for this iconic chef.”
The party kept going until 2 a.m. What a fantastic surprise for West Chester and Avalon!
