Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation Hosts Opening Day’s “The Best Our Pretty Farm Affords” Workshop, April 6

Colonial Pennsylvania PlantationSpring is here at last, and with it comes the opening of the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation!

Visit the Plantation on Saturday, April 6, to enjoy the countryside and visit the farm animals. Hearth cooking, woodworking, long rifle demonstrations, spinning, weaving, working with flax, dulcimer music, tea in the parlor, candle making and seed planting will also be part of the day. Take an architectural tour of the buildings on the grounds of the Plantation and enjoy various refreshments.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last entry at 4 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for children ages 4-12. Children younger than 4 are free.
