Registration is now open for the 2013 Dash 4 Diabetes, to be held in West Chester on April 6! The annual 5K run, 2.5K walk, and kids’ run benefit the Diabetes Self-Management Program at The Chester County Hospital.
Times for the day’s events are as follows:
2:30 p.m.: Registration
3:15 p.m.: Kids’ Fun Run
4 p.m.: 5K Run and 2.5K Walk
Fees are $20 before March 30 (online or by mail), $25 after March 30 (online), $25 the day of the race. Children under 12 are $10 (free for kids under 12 with diabetes). Kids who participate in the fun run are welcome to walk/run in the Dash as well. Registration includes a t-shirt, while supplies last.
The 5K run and 2.5K walk will start at the Chester County Justice Center, located at 201 West Market Street in downtown West Chester. The kids’ run will be held on Church Street, between Market Street and Miner Street, on a closed course.
