Here’s the big one folks. On Friday, April 5, The Chester County Antiques Show Preview Party will kick off its 31st annual weekend of antiques appreciation. The grand affair is being held at a new venue, The Phelps School. Located in Malvern, the fresh venue will provide a perfect setting for the architectural elements of antique furniture, which is the theme for 2013. Amidst the new, inviting space will be plenty of delicious bites from Doc Magrogan’s and Jimmy Duffy’s Catering, plus the finest sips to pair along with your cuisine!
The three-hour evening, which kicks off at 5 p.m., will serve as an opportunity for early viewing of the event’s beautiful items while you enjoy fine fare and meet the vendors, the Historical Society’s Board of Trustees and other supporters. Following Friday night’s festivities, the 31st annual event will continue from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, when antiques enthusiasts are invited to stroll the grounds and review the fascinating exhibits.
While a Preview Show of such caliber is only enjoyed by those who hold the $130 per person tickets—$200 for early admission—PA Eats has surprising news that might be of interest for those looking to attend.
