A Go-To Guide for Tackling Manayunk.com’s Restaurant Week—Rolls Through Town September 22 to October 4

Are you ready? Manayunk Restaurant Week will be kicking into high gear on Sunday, September 22, and going straight through til Friday, October 4! With over 20 of Manayunk’s most popular restaurants participating, there’s something for everyone to love. Keep it simple with a $10 menu, go all out with a $30 prix fixe offering or maybe try something in between for $20. Our vote: Do it all—you’ve got two weeks!

$10 Menus

The Couch Tomato Cafe: Pizza, salad and dessert

The Bayou Bar & Grill: Beer, wings and steamed crabs

Pat and Bobby’s Steaks: Sandwich, fries and a fountain drink

$20 Menus

winniesWinnie’s LeBus: Fall flavors star in Winnie’s three-course meal, with selections like Fall Pumpkin Soup, Butternut Squash Risotto and Apple Fritters on the menu.

Bourbon Blue: Gumbo YaYa, Jambalaya and a finale of Bananas Foster Bread Pudding—yes, please! In addition to its $20 two-course menu, Bourbon Blue is also allowing patrons to choose three courses for $30.

Cactus: Tequila (yes, you read that right), Tortilla Soup or Salad and your choice of entree or specialty item are featured at Cactus during Restaurant Week.

Manayunk Tavern: Feast on a cup of Jalapeño Corn Chowder, Classic Wedge Salad and Ahi Tuna Soft Shell Tacos topped with Oriental slaw and cilantro/lime aioli at the tavern.

Lucky's Last ChanceLucky’s Last Chance: Mak ‘n Cheese, Classic Burger and Deep-Fried Apple Rings—sounds like a winner to us!

Laxmi Indian Grille: Four courses are on offer at Laxmi, including Mango Lassi, Veggie Pakora, Vegetarian/Chicken Entree and Roti or Naan.

Manayunk Brewing Company: Unwind after a long day with beer or wine, a burger or a sandwich and a cute little mini dessert.

Sapphire Manayunk: Appetizer selections include Calamari, Caprese Salad, Mussels with sauteed pork chorizo or Hummus; entree selections feature Sweet Potato Gnocchi, Panko Tilapia or Chicken Saltimbocca. Finish off your meal with your choice of dessert.

$30 Menus

Derek’s: We’ve got our eye on Lobster Bisque, Griddled Jumbo Lump Crabcake with avocado corn salad & cilantro-lime butter and Local Granny Smith Apple Cobbler with homemade cinnamon gelato on this stellar menu.

Zesty’s: Mousaka, Pastitsio, Souvlaki, Gnocchi, Ravioli, Chicken Lefkada or Salmon—Greek salad and dessert, too! Find it all on the Restaurant Week menu at Zesty’s.

Tomato BistroThe Tomato Bistro: Salads star in Tomato Bistro’s menu, with Grilled Peach Salad, Strawberry & Fried Goat Cheese Salad or Caesar Salad featured. And that’s just the first course!

Jake’s and Cooper’s Wine Bar: Warm up with Corn & Lobster Chowder, Peppered Skirt Steak with bloody Mary tomato salad and Brown Butter Plum Cake with ginger ice cream & plum Thai basil jus.

Hikaru: Fans of sake, you’ll find it on Hikaru’s Restaurant Week menu, in addition to Kobe Beef Burgers, Hibachi Shrimp and your choice of sushi rolls.

yanakoYanako: Take a walk on the wild side and try Octopus Ceviche; Roasted Pork Belly glazed with fish caramel, fried apple puree and kimchi apple; and Apple Miso Sorbet at Yanako.

Chabaa Thai Bistro: The tastes of Thailand come to life in dishes like Satay Chicken, Mango Shrimp and Mango Sticky Rice, all on the Restaurant Week menu.

Bisou: We’re dying to try Bisou’s Peeky Toe Crab Salad, Duck Salad, Arctic Char with cauliflower puree and dessert, too, of course!

Bella Trattoria: Old World Italian flavors are on full display in Bella Trattoria’s offerings, which include Bruschette Miste, Gnocchi Tri-colori in gorgonzola cream sauce and Farfalle Bianco.

han dynastyHan Dynasty: Fan of noodles? Han Dynasty’s got Dan Dan Noodles, Cold Sesame Noodles and Cold Noodles in Chili Oil on its Restaurant Week menu—and those are just the second-course selections!

La Collina: Eggplant Fiorentina, Veal Involtini, Spinach Gnocchi, Tiramisu and Tartuffo—Nonna would be so proud of the Italian feast you can partake of at La Collina.
