The much-loved Media Farmers Market will be making its return to the corner of State and Gayley Streets on May 9!
Visit the market every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. through November for returning vendors such as Anita’s Guacamole, Burlap & Bean, Hillside Farm, Fruitwood Orchards and Great Harvest Bread Company as well as a host of new vendors like Amazing Acres Goat Dairy, Canter Hill Farm, MomPops, Naughty Nutty Love, Vera Pasta and more. In all, nearly 30 vendors will be showing off their yummy goods at the market this year. (Find a complete list of vendors here.)
The market will also be offering its popular Produce Passport for Kids again this year. Kids can come to the Manager’s Table to pick up their passport at any time during the market season. Draw the fruit or vegetable of the week and, after six weeks, earn a prize—a special treat from a market vendor. It’s a great way for kids of all ages to get to know fruits and vegetables they love, and new ones to try.
Local businesses, nonprofit organizations and performing artists will also be featured regularly at the market.
The Media Farmers Market, a producer-only market with no third party selling, is organized by a group of volunteers who live in and around Media. This fresh food market emphasizes farm-produced goods from local growers. Volunteer to be a part of this great community resource here.
