Celebrate Healthy Kids Day with the Phoenixville YMCA on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free community event encourages kids to get moving and families to live healthier. Healthy Kids Day, the Y’s national initiative to improve families’ health and well-being, will take place at 1,900 Ys and kick-starts healthier behaviors now and throughout the summer.
The event will include fun, active play and educational activities including family yoga, arts & crafts, face painting, soccer and hockey challenges, bean bag toss, an obstacle course, jump rope contest, finger painting with the Schuylkill Township Police Department and a nutrition station with a variety of games and activities.
