Waterloo Gardens is making this year all about the SOUPer Bowl, not that other big Sunday event. They’re gearing up for an exciting fundraiser that combines everyone’s love for a great hearty soup and a little competition.
In fact, Waterloo Gardens is currently seeking local restaurants and taste-testers to join the fun on January 26th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those participating are required to provide samples of their best soup to guests. In turn, the guests will donate $5 or bring in three or more cans of soup for tasting privileges. All donations collected will be given to the Lord’s Pantry in Downingtown. PLUS, the winning restaurant will also score a $100.00 Waterloo Gardens gift card.
Many amazing, local spots are already on the line-up, including the always delicious award-winning Bordley House Grille. With their farm fresh ingredients and innovative talent, Bordley will definitely bring a sensational soup to the competition. In addition, The Olive Tree Mediterranean Grill and Amani’s BYOB are also set to serve up their best. Make sure you’re there to give them all a try!
