Valley Forge Casino Resort will be filled with foodies galore on the weekend of October 17–19 when the 16th Annual TASTE Philadelphia Festival of Food, Wine and Spirits takes place. There will be plenty of food and drink samplings to be had as well as some pretty spectacular culinary guests. Here are five favorites that you should not miss out on seeing at the TASTE Philadelphia Festival of Food, Wine and Spirits.
Rocco DiSpirito
TV personality and best-selling cookbook author Rocco DiSpirito will be on hand to meet the guests and sign his cookbook as well. There will also be a cooking demo that all DiSpirito fans will surely not want to miss. The cookbook signing and cooking demo will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 17, in the Convention Center; the meet and greet will occur later that night at 9 p.m. on the main casino floor.
Nicholas Elmi
Winner of Top Chef and owner/chef of Laurel here in Philadelphia, Nicholas Elmi has quite a following and will be a popular guest at TASTE Philadelphia Festival of Food, Wine and Spirits. See Nicholas put his culinary talents to work during his cooking demo on Saturday, October 18, at 6:30 p.m.
Nicole Gaffney
Nicole Gaffney from the Next Food Network Star and South Jersey resident will be making an appearance to delight the crowds with her cooking demo on Saturday, October 18, at 1:30 p.m. As a finalist and fan favorite on the Next Food Network Star, Nicole will also be a popular special guest at TASTE.
Tony Luke Jr.
Any true Philadelphian knows who Tony Luke Jr. is, and the culinary legend himself is going to be making an appearance at the TASTE Philadelphia Festival of Food, Wine and Spirits on Sunday, October 19, at 2:45 p.m. Don’t miss this fantastic demo by Tony Luke Jr. and the opportunity to see him in action.
Mob Wives Cast Members “Big Ang” and the Graziano Sisters
Another group of special guests appearing at TASTE includes some Mob Wives favorites such as Angela “Big Ang” Raiola, who will be signing bottles of her Big Ang Wines, and Renee, Jennifer and Lana Graziano, who will be on hand to provide samples from their culinary company Graziano Macaroni Company. Ang will be signing bottles from 4–6 p.m. on Friday, October 17, and 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and 4–6 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, while the Graziano sisters will be at the event throughout the entire weekend.
In addition to these spectacular special guests mentioned above, there will be a ton of food and beverage vendors offering their samplings to the crowds, a Celebrity Chef Pavilion where you can enjoy meet and greets with celebrity chefs and so much more!
