Now that looks like a guy who’s got something to say. And let us reassure you, it was all good. That’s Governor Tom Corbett of Pennsylvania, and he recently made a stop at Manatawny Still Works while on one of his PA Waterway Kayak trips. With the help of the Valley Forge Convention Center and Tourism Bureau, Manatawny Still Works hosted the governor along with his press crew and other state officials. The Barrel Room was set up for a luncheon that was enjoyed by all.
Now that you’ve got the governor’s seal of approval, consider Manatawny Still Works for your next party or event. If it’s a small group of less than eight people, a bottling party could be right in your wheelhouse. Sign your group up for a morning at the distillery and learn all about the bottling process. You’ll work side by side with the staff on site while going through the various steps of bottling bourbon. After your “shift” is complete, they’ll provide lunch and a free t-shirt in exchange for your time put in.
Manatawny Still Works is also a venue that is capable of hosting groups for events on a larger scale. With two separate rooms (The Still Works at Manatawny and The Barrel Room) totaling 3,500 square feet, you can be sure the space is plenty and the atmosphere is just right. Both rooms give a great view of the production area, their impressive still, beautiful tanks, stately columns and classic barrels, creating an organic and memorable environment for your next meeting or event.
You can find Manatawny Still Works at 320 Circle of Progress Drive (Suite 104) in Pottstown, Pa.; phone: (484) 624-8271.
