On Jan. 18, Jelly Belly launched the greatest flavor of our time — draft beer-flavored beans! The hyped flavor, crafted to match the profile of a Hefeweizen ale (expect bready wheat tastes aside banana and clove), hit the candy market with the intention of paying homage to the brand’s German ancestry.
Now, Jim Galligan, co-founder of the Beer and Whiskey Brothers blog, recently guest-spotted on Today.com, taking the draft beer beans to the next level! He’s concocted “recipes” for creating other beer-flavored beans by simply combining the draft beer flavor with other notable beans.
For example, he recommends combining Two Draft Beer beans with One Watermelon bean for a Watermelon Wheat. Want a Coffee Stout in candy form? Snack on Three Draft Beer beans with One Chocolate Pudding bean and one Cappuccino bean.
