When we think of Italian food, we automatically assume that the dishes we’re imagining would be found on any trip to Italy. Not true! From marinara sauce to pepperoni pizza, although these menu items are found in Italian restaurants in various spots throughout the world, you won’t find them on menus in Italian towns.
