A special fundraising day has been planned in support of one of the Philadelphia culinary industry’s own, Chef Eli Kulp, who was injured in the Amtrak accident that occurred in May.
Ellen Yin, co-owner of Fork with Chef Kulp, and High Street Hospitality Group have planned a fundraising event with more than 20 local chefs and restaurants. On July 16, Fork will be the location of this special and important event, where guests will sample a wide array of food and drink from participants such as Di Bruno Bros., Blackfish, Cuba Libre, Sbraga and Zahav; enjoy live music; and take part in a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the Kulp family.
The VIP portion of the event begins at 5:30 p.m., with general admission ticketholders gaining entrance at 6:30 p.m. The day on which the event is to be held was purposely chosen since it is Eli Kulp Day, as previously designated by Mayor Michael Nutter. Tickets are available online now and can be purchased for $200 for regular admission and $350 for VIPs.
Show your support for Eli Kulp and family by taking part in this exceptional fundraising event!
