Have you ever been interested in learning how to cut a good piece of meat, the right way? If you’re a woman hoping to learn the ins and outs of this type of food preparation, the female butchering class at Kensington Quarters on July 19 is an informative hands-on class you won’t want to miss.
The class will take place from 2:30–5 p.m. and will provide a step-by-step tutorial on how to butcher a cross-section of one of Kensington Quarters’ woodlot-raised pigs. The instructor will also provide helpful insight into the various cuts as well as recommended cooking techniques. This is the perfect class for women who have always expressed an interest in butchering and are eager to learn the proper ways to do so.
