New Food Exhibit to Explore at the National Constitution Center

National Constitution Center

The National Constitution Center will be showcasing an exhibit called What’s Cooking, Uncle Sam? through January 3, 2016.

What’s Cooking, Uncle Sam will break down the meaning of “farm to table” and will explore the changing American diet. Visitors of all ages are invited to discover how world events, innovation, government regulations, research and economics have shaped what we eat and why.

The exhibit—produced by the National Archives Museum in Washington, D.C., with support from the National Archives Foundation—will be open from 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays as well as from 9:30 a.m.–6 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. General admission is $14.50 for adults; $13 for seniors, students with ID and youth (ages 13–18); and $8 for children (ages 4–12). The exhibit is free for active military.
