Philly’s Inspired Brews to Open Old City-Based Fermentary

Inspired Brews

The kombucha craze has seemingly captured a strong audience in the Philadelphia region. Described as a fermented natural tea drink with bubbles, the age-old elixir provides a fresh taste and health benefits.

Center City graphic designer Jessa Stevens has grown her small wholesale kombucha business called Inspired Brews from a shared kitchen space to an expanding project. Back in April, Char Nolan of PA Eats profiled Inspired Brews and documented both the business and the kombucha brewing process.

Philly.com reports that Inspired Brews will be moving shop to 263 N. Third St. in Old City, which used to be home to Lite Bite. The space will be shared with an upstart cold-pressed juice company.
