Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar Opens Seventh Location

Philadelphia restaurateur Dave Magrogan has opened his seventh Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar location—his first outside of the Northeast—in Delray Beach, Florida, continuing the expansion of the Harvest brand.

Magrogan’s first Florida restaurant opened to the public on December 5 at the Delray Place Shopping Center, located at 1911 South Federal Highway in Delray Beach. The restaurant has already seen an influx of customers and a very positive reception from the south Florida crowd, whose active lifestyle fits neatly into the Harvest Seasonal Grill brand’s values.

“It’s really exciting to open in Florida where the sun is shining and so many diners are focused on living a healthy, active lifestyle,” said Magrogan, who founded the Dave Magrogan Group, which also owns and operates Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House, Red Star Craft House and Kildare’s Irish Pub. “It was a challenge at first to expand outside of the Philadelphia area, but my team and our new staff in our Delray Beach location have surpassed my expectations, and we’re looking forward to growing this brand in the south, the mid-Atlantic and New England over the next couple of years.”

Harvest Seasonal Grill’s expansion will continue into upper Bucks County with the next location opening in Newtown, Pennsylvania, in February. Magrogan plans to eventually open new locations in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and Princeton, New Jersey, as well locations in Maryland, Virginia, the Carolinas and New England in 2017 and beyond.

“We hope to grow the concept to at least 14 locations by 2018,” said Magrogan. “Our guests are incredibly brand loyal and seem to love what we have to offer, so we’re excited to continue to introduce the restaurant into new markets as we expand. With each location we open, we are so proud to create upward of 100 new jobs, and we are also able to provide increased business to the hard-working purveyors who grow our produce, catch our fish and raise the livestock that we utilize to compose the delicious seasonal menu items that our guests have come to love. Without our supplier network, none of this would be possible.”

Harvest Seasonal Grill offers a farm-to-table menu featuring organic, local, sustainable and non-GMO ingredients sourced from more than 75 local farms. The menu changes seasonally to utilize the freshest foods available, and a majority of menu items contain less than 500 calories, including a variety of house-made signature, single-serving desserts.

Dave Magrogan’s six Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bars are located at 200 S. 40th St. in Philadelphia; 555 Lancaster Ave. in Radnor; 549 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Glen Mills; 1460 Bethlehem Pike in North Wales; 2625 Brindle Dr. in Harrisburg; and inside the Moorestown Mall in Moorestown, NJ.
