Give Back at the Andrew L. Hicks Jr. Foundation’s 8th Annual Toy Drive (Now thru Dec. 13)

Spread joy this holiday season and donate to the Andrew L. Hicks Jr. Foundation‘s 8th annual Toy Drive, now through Wednesday, December 13.

The Foundation is in need of 2,000 new and unwrapped toys for its Christmas Toy Store on Saturday, December 16. More than 400 children from Chester, Pa. are individually selected to “shop” in the toy store for their Christmas presents. For some of these children, these may be the only gifts they receive this Christmas.

Following their shopping experience, the kids can bring the toys out to their parents. The parents then take the toys to the wrapping station. While the parents wrap, the children can enjoy hot cocoa.

In addition to toys, the Foundation is also collecting new and gently used gifts for mom, dad and other special people in the children’s lives, so the children can shop for family members and also get to experience the joy of gift-giving. See a list of suggested items for adults here.
