Celebrate the 2017 Masters Golf Tournament with Dixie Vodka’s Clubhouse Cooler (Recipe Included!)

To get into the spirit of the Masters Golf Tournament, which will be held at Augusta National Gold Club from April 6–9, we’re remembering the king of golf, Arnold Palmer. What better way to celebrate his legacy and enjoy a long day of golf than to sip on Dixie Vodka’s Clubhouse Cooler, a riff on Palmer’s iconic summer drink with refreshing mint vodka, sweet iced tea and tangy lemonade?

Dixie Vodka was born out of the need for a craft vodka with an authentic Southern pedigree. Made for Southerners by Southerners, Dixie Vodka is hand-crafted out of Charleston, South Carolina. Named “The South’s Best Tasting Vodka,” Dixie Vodka is an all-American brand—from packaging materials to its Southern-sourced ingredients.

To celebrate the 81st edition of the Masters Tournament and the first of golf’s four major championships to be held in 2017, Dixie Vodka is sharing its recipe for The Clubhouse Cooler. It will be a guaranteed hole-in-one for your guests this spring and summer!

The Clubhouse Cooler

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Dixie Mint Vodka
  • 4 cups of lemonade
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large tea bags (or 12 individual) for iced tea (or purchase your choice of pre-made sweet tea)
  • Fresh mint sprigs
  • 8 lemon slices

Method

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from the heat and add in tea bags. Let tea bags steep for 5 minutes then remove. Stir in one cup of sugar until dissolved. Pour tea, lemonade and Dixie Mint Vodka into preferred punch serving bowl. Add additional 3 quarts of water and stir together. Muddle a handful of mint leaves in a separate bowl and add to punch ingredients. Cover and chill until cool. Fill mason jars with ice and pour in tea. Garnish with mint sprig and lemon slice. Sit back and enjoy!
