Opening Soon in Lancaster: The Freinschaft Market

The Freinschaft Market

Lancaster shoppers will gain a new spot to pick up all of their favorite products once The Freinschaft Market opens its doors with a projected grand opening date of August 25!

Freinschaft is defined as “a group of family and relatives,” and those who visit The Freinschaft Market will be able to feel the warmth and community akin to its namesake.

As the owners put it on the market’s Facebook page:

We are a generation who have been raised by our used-to-be Amish parents. A generation that has experienced a unique family bond between both Amish and non-Amish relatives. We know … it’s confusing. We don’t expect you to understand, but just like any other culture, it’s all about the food.

Products set to be sold will include fresh butcher meats, delicatessen fare and many prepared food items, perfect for setting out on your family’s table for mealtime.

The spot coming to 398 Harrisburg Avenue in Lancaster will also offer custom butchery services, featuring beef, poultry, pork, lamb, veal and wild game, made-to-order deli sandwiches, rotisserie chicken made fresh daily and a daily specials menu. Other takeout items will include local dairy products, fresh produce, prepared soups, salads and an array of imported and artisan grocery items.

Have we whet your appetite yet for this new butcher and deli shop to open in Lancaster? Keep following along via The Freinschaft Market Facebook page for breaking news and updates as they become available!
