Learn About Cheese at Whole Foods Allentown (July 13)

A wise man once said: “The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.” (Thanks, Willie Nelson!).

To get your own healthy dose of cheese and cheese wisdom, check out The Cheese Course at the Whole Foods Market in Allentown. This free class meets from 6 –7 p.m. every Thursday evening, and allows participants to explore incredible cheeses from around the world, including quality curds crafted locally in the Lehigh Valley.

Whole Foods’ own expert cheese mongers will offer samples, as well as suggestions for cheese and drinks pairings, cheese board inspiration and advice for other creative culinary uses for cheese. Local and regional craft breweries are often invited to offer sips of their best offerings, as well! To sign up, visit The Cheese Course Eventbrite page or call the market at (484) 506-2159. Please note that alcohol samples are only offered to participants 21+ (proper identification is required), and space is limited.
