Clear your schedule and join Rittenhouse Row on Saturday, May 19, for the 2018 Spring Festival. Enjoy street cafes, art, beauty, fashion, family fun, culinary demonstrations, beer and cocktail samplings, live music and entertainment on Walnut Street, from the Avenue of the Arts to Rittenhouse Square. You could be one of 50,000 attendees enjoying the only time of the year when Walnut Street is closed to vehicular traffic.
This free event runs from noon through 5 p.m. on Walnut Street between Broad Street and 19th Street, and on 17th Street and 18th Street, from Sansom Street to Locust St. This is a rain-or-shine event.
Throughout the streets, you’ll find stylish spring fashions, pampering options, active and healthy lifestyle booths, as well as sweet treats and plenty of vegan options.
Highlights of this year’s Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival include:

1600 Block of Walnut
Plan ahead and participate in Rittenhouse Row’s Clothing Collection, and do good while having fun. Please bring donations of gently used men’s, women’s, children’s clothing and accessories to the Our Closet tent at 17th and Walnut, across from Capital One. Our Closet hosts “pop-up clothing shops” at 15 locations throughout Philadelphia. Our Closet is a volunteer-driven program and relies on the clothing donations from the community at large to keep the program operating. The goal is to provide the basic need of clothing to vulnerable individuals and their families throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Clothing is distributed free of charge by operating “pop-up shops” and through providing emergency response packages to community members in crisis. There are no eligibility requirements to receive clothing. Shoppers are treated with dignity and are offered a safe space to shop, make conversations with volunteers and gain the confidence they need to face other stressors in their lives, such as such as securing a steady source of income or finding permanent housing solutions.
