Ingredients
- 1 bottle (750 milliliters) Pennsylvania Pinot Gris
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 1 (2-inch) knob fresh ginger, sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks, plus more for garnish
- 2 tablespoons honey
Method
- Combine Pinot Gris, pears, ginger, cinnamon sticks and honey in a medium saucepan set over medium-low heat.
- Heat mixture gently until steaming but not boiling, about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally to help honey dissolve.
- Remove from heat. Ladle into mugs, making sure each serving gets some pear slices.
- Garnish with additional cinnamon sticks and serve warm.
