Bread, cheese and fruit are a special trio of simple ingredients that, together, make for some stellar dishes. We love how the natural sugars of fruit perfectly harmonize with the salty creaminess of cheese. A nice crunchy, chewy vessel of bread brings it all together. For this recipe, roast red grapes to deepen their flavor and pair with delicate, creamy ricotta cheese on toasted bread. It’s a great holiday appetizer or at-home snack!
You can easily substitute other fruits like peaches, plums, nectarines, cherries or berries.
