The centuries-old Cuban mojito is an enduring favorite for a reason. Fresh lime, mint and sugar all dance together in this sweet, effervescent cocktail that just hits the spot. We’ve subbed out the classic white rum for Pennsylvania Vidal Blanc, which bring notes of bright citrus, pineapple and stone fruit to the drink.

This is a quick and crowd-pleasing cocktail for a get-together, dinner on the patio, or for just cooling down at the end of a long summer day.

Vidal Blanc Mojito Punch

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Pennsylvania Vidal Blanc
  • 2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice, about 4 tablespoons, plus more wedges for garnish
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 10 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
  • 4 ounces chilled club soda, about 1/2 cup

Method

  1. Combine mint leaves, lime juice and sugar in a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, muddling until sugar is dissolved and mint is fragrant. Stir in Vidal Blanc.
  2. Fill 2 wine glasses or high-ball glasses with ice. Strain and divide mixture evenly between glasses.
  3. Top each glass with club soda and stir gently to combine.
  4. Garnish with lime wedges and additional mint, and serve.
