71st Annual Chester County Day House Tour Coming October 1

October 1, 2011 is the 71st annual Chester County Day House Tour, the oldest house tour in the nation. This year, you will experience Chester County’s finest examples of original, reclaimed, restored, new and historically significant homes. While you are enjoying “The Day,” you will also be supporting The Chester County Hospital in its ongoing mission to bring world-class care close to home. If you love architecture, artistry and antiques, you won’t want to miss this premier house tour.

The year, they will include a sweeping tour of the southeast quadrant of Chester County, which includes Devon, Newtown Square, Malvern, Sugartown, Willistown, East Goshen, West Goshen, Westtown and West Chester. Along the route, stop and enjoy a picnic of their local fare or share a limousine with friends to take you around and make it a beautiful autumn day in the county.
