Coming Soon to Historic Kennett Square: Nomadic Pies

Outside New Nomadic Pies

There’s some seriously exciting news coming out of Kennett Square: Nomadic Pies is making its way back to its origins and setting up shop in downtown Kennett Square! What started out as a roving food truck serving the pie lovers of Chester County has now transitioned to owner/baker Molly Johnston’s second storefront. And while the Parkesburg location will not remain open, Johnston’s excitement for her new location could hardly be contained. “I’m so excited to be back in the Kennett community, which is where this all started with my truck.”

nomadic piesNomadic Pies has made a name for itself with the quality and diversity in its selection of pies. Sure, you’ll find your typical crowd favorites like apple, pecan and pumpkin pies on the menu. But what may surprise you is the serious variety of savory pies and quiches offered to customers. Molly’s chicken pot pies are made from pasture-raised, hormone-free, antibiotic-free heritage chickens. For those of you seeking gluten-free options, you’re in luck! Nomadic Pies will have plenty of options on the menu for gluten-free diners as well.

You’ll find Nomadic Pies located at 132 W. State Street in Kennett Square (the former Sweet Christine’s location).
