If you didn’t think ice cream could get any better than it already is, you may want to re-think that sentiment. Join the Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) on August 20, when they’ll be serving up FREE ice cream. Chocolate, vanilla and strawberry lovers alike can agree that free ice cream is the best ice cream!
Staff and volunteers from FOW and the FOW Environmental Center will be in attendance from 3–6 p.m. for an ice cream social that’s sure to be fun for the whole family. Ice cream will be provided by Bredenbeck’s Bakery and Ice Cream Parlor, and live music and plenty of arts and crafts will be on hand to entertain the crowd.
The 8th annual ice cream social will be held outside of FOW offices, located at 8708 Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill, Pa. Join Friends of the Wissahickon in celebration of its 90th anniversary. For a full listing of events, visit the celebration website!
