We’ve been anxiously awaiting the grand opening of Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen in Kennett Square and are pleased to announce that the casual restaurant serving contemporary American fare is open and ready for business. Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen took over the space of the former Half Moon Restaurant & Saloon.
The menu includes shareable plates like beer cheese fondue, nachos, wings and flatbreads plus salads, burgers and entrees such as fish tacos and short rib ravioli. Grain KSQ also serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays featuring dishes like chicken and waffles, scrapple cheesesteaks, seafood omelets and bananas Foster French toast.
The bar will have plenty of craft beer, too—the restaurant’s Newark location has 24 taps and 50 bottles on the menu. Look for a large custom-built communal table, live music on the weekends and great views of Kennett Square from the rooftop deck.
Current hours of operation are Monday–Friday from 11:30 a.m.–2 a.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.–2 a.m. For information about specials, musical acts and more, follow Grain KSQ on Facebook.
