“What’s cookin’, good lookin’? Lots, we hope! Leading up to our Buy Fresh Buy Local Festival this Friday, we are asking for everyone’s favorite local foods recipes. Please submit them to [email protected] by Thursday night and we’ll have ourselves a little old fashioned contest! Once submitted, we’ll pick the tastiest sounding favorites and whip them up for our lucky readers and market folk to try out this Friday, June 17th. After they’ve hit your belly, we’ll ask you to rate their places in different categories – like Kid Friendliest! The Best In Show will win a coveted spot in our soon-to-come 2009 KSQ Farmers Market Cookbook. So, put your oven mitts on and get crackin’!”
