Birchrun Hills’ Farm recently premiered their farm market on the lay of their land in November, and for their last market of the month, head over on Thursday, December 16 from 2 to 6 pm.
This week, along with their usual selection (see flyer), they will have breads, baguettes and possibly some Bavarian pretzels and Lavash from Brick Oven Bread & Cheese Shoppe. Charlestown Farm will have some amazing-looking produce, as well as their farm eggs and, Oley Valley Mushrooms will bring a beautiful choice of mushrooms including crimini, shiitake, oyster and portabellas.
Our good friend/beer ambassador Joel Armato of New Holland Beer will also be in attendance this week with samples on hand, as will his friend Jean Broillet, who will be pouring some of his Tired Hands beers, an up-and-coming brewery based in the Philadelphia area.
