Victory Brewing Company announces that their annual FallFest is quickly approaching, held early in October. Known as the well-known community celebration of all things found in Chester County, particularly those produced in the Downingtown region, this year’s festivities will, as per usual, showcase the area’s finest.
Held rain or shine during the early afternoon of October 3, between noon and 4 p.m., the East Lancaster Avenue-based street festival (stationed between Wallace Avenue and Green Street) partners with numerous local businesses, restaurants and musicians to all premiere in one space for one day a year.
While the Victory Beer Garden is a popular choice for many attendees to receive the locally-produced hopped selections pouring aplenty, (the new Brewpub on Wheels will be on hand, too) all ages will be entertained by numerous other displays. From a BMX aerial show and various vendors trotting their goods like Pinball Gallery, Downingtown Skatepark Organization and Downingtown Country Gifts, the free outdoor festival is an event appealing to neighbors of all ages, both near and far.
Of course, a street festival would not be complete without a wide assortment of eats from nearby restaurants like Amani’s BYOB, Blue Cafe, Doghouse Gourmet Burgers, Firecreek Restaurant, Foster Boys, Kimberton Whole Foods, Margo’s Old-Fashioned Ice Cream, Station Taproom, and of course, Victory Brewery. Better yet, the local brewery promises homemade pretzels appropriate for the German-inspired outdoor event and if you have yet to scope out their interior space of brewing operations, they’re offering tours beginning at noon.
Also, sponsors Kimberton Whole Foods and PASA/Buy Fresh Buy Local are partnering for the festival’s farmers’ market, showing off the harvest of local farms and producers, including Spotted Hill Farm, Panache Food, Seven Stars Farm, Sun and Earth, Caffe Craze, Awaken with Light, St. Peter’s Bakery, Smith’s Produce, Maysies Farm, and more.
Additional sponsors of fest centered in the heart of Downingtown include First Niagara Bank, Roberts Subaru, and Downingtown Dish.
