First Annual Great Chili Debate

On Saturday, October 23rd, French Quarter Bistro will host their First Annual Great Chili Debate. The local chili cooking competition will feature concoctions from a number of local restaurants, all with a goal to crown one lone chef the winner. If you’re a restaurant and you too want to compete, there is still time to hit French Quarter Bistro up! Organized as a “beef and bean chili” competition, as long as you have those two ingredients in the mix, anything else goes!

Come have fun, eat many bowls of chili and vote for who you think has the best recipe. State Representative Paul Drucker will also be on-site, with all proceeds from the event will benefit the Rep Drucker’s Reelection Fund.

Contenders are as follows:

The French Quarter Bistro
Chiccarines
Gallaghers Country Tavern
The Railroad Street Bar and Grill
Daddy Mims Creole BYOB
