TUNES THROUGH TIME: PHOENIXVILLE’S MUSICAL SCRAPBOOK
This special exhibit on display at the Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area will include photos and memorabilia illustrating the rich musical heritage of the Phoenixville community. You are invited to join the Historical Society for the Grand Opening of the Exhibit tonight, First Friday November 5th at 7pm. You will be entertained to a FREE Grand Opening concert from 7-9 PM. See and Hear the “Colonial Revelers” perform songs from Phoenixville’s Colonial Tradition in authentic costumes of the era. Special features of the evening include: The Phoenix Military Band, Rare Concert Posters and Sheet Music, plus Local Composers, Musicians and Vocalists. The exhibit will be on display in the HSPA Museum from November Through February. The Historical Society Museum is located at 204 Church Street in Phoenixville and the hours are: Wednesdays & Fridays, 9 AM—3 PM; First Sunday of the Month, 1-4 PM; First Fridays, 6-9 PM.
