Chaplin’s Music Cafe of Spring City will host an evening with Syrinx on Saturday, June 11 from 7 to 11 pm.
Syrinx (pronounced Sear-inks) is a progressive rock band from Montgomery County inspired by classic rock and progressive bands ranging from The Beatles, The Who and The Doors to Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Rush and Porcupine Tree. The output performs a range of covers reflecting these inspirations, as well as a number of progressive original pieces.
Their lineup includes Jim Blizard (lead vocalist, keyboardist), Steve Shackleton (on drums, backing vocals and lyrics), Tom Smith (bass guitar, backing vocals, keyboards) and Chris Rohrer (guitarist). For more information on the Saturday’s featured musicians, visit www.syrinxband.com.
