Every Wednesday through this steamy season, Anson B. Nixon Park hosts their Summer Concert Series—all planned as “rain or shine” events at the park’s bandstand.
Anson B Nixon Park is supported by a dedicated group of Park Authority members and committed volunteers. They welcome you to join them! In addition to the free live performances, each week light suppers are available for purchase on-site by area-wide restaurants.

Nixon Park is located at 100 Waterworks Road off Walnut Road, in the Borough of Kennett Square. It is open daily from dawn to dusk. This 106 acre hidden gem is nestled just north of downtown Kennett Square, with a natural setting including two ponds, streams, woodlands including a beech grove with specimens dating back over 250 years, and three miles of walking trails. Recreational activities include tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, soccer and lacrosse fields, a performance pavilion, picnic pavilions, restrooms, a playground and walking tails.
