Bob, the Wine Guy, will host his fourth West Chester Wine Course on Monday, July 25 at Teca Restaurant & Wine Bar. Striving to demystify wine through what he calls “edutainment,” Bob makes wine education fun and enjoyable for each and every attendee of his courses.
Monday’s class will focus on exploring California’s vast lineup of wines, beginning at 6:15 pm and running until 7:45 pm. Did you know that after prohibition, California’s very promising wine industry was wiped out and it took almost 50 years to rebound? But, as many are aware, California wines are now on par with the best wine producing countries in the world producing 90% of America’s wine production!
Come and explore the “Golden State” from North to South next week at Teca, as you will taste examples from some of California’s greatest regions (Napa Valley, the Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, and the South Central Coast down to Santa Barbara will all be included). Six different grape varieties will be tasted, so strap on your backpack and bring a friend as you’ll tour the Pacific Coast Highway in search of “Grape Adventures!”
