A trek around downtown today led us to spot an upcoming development in the Joel Building, a historic structure between Market and Gay Streets that had been vacant for decades —that is until FarmHouse Markets came along last summer.
We’ve become weekly shoppers of FarmHouse Markets, a grocery store that specializes in local produce, dairy and meats, since it opened late last August. However, we are sad to say that their storefront now bares both a “closing sale” and on-the-market sign, and will regrettably miss this addition in downtown.
But, they are not closed yet! So, hurry over and praise their efforts for bringing such a “Buy Fresh, Buy Local” shop to West Chester. Plus, there is a 10-percent sale going on until they are officially closed, and we highly suggest you take advantage of those savings.
