Brush up your beer knowledge, grab your brew-loving comrades and head to Manayunk Brewery on Saturday, September 17th 2011, for the 5th Annual Manayunk Craft Beer Games!
This event, presented by the Manayunk-based brewing company and Rolling Barrel Events, offers an exciting and fun challenge to both veteran craft beer lovers and local beer rookies. The festivities will take place at Manayunk Brew Pub’s upstairs River Room from 11am to 5pm. Teams of four will be challenged in a variety of alluring competitions set to test your palette, skills, and knowledge of local brews.
Participants must be 21 to compete. There will be a limit of 50 teams each comprised of 4 members. Participants receive an event T-shirt, 2 draft beers, access to lunch and drink specials, door prizes, live music, and medals for the winners. Registration for the event is available online at www.rollingbarrel.com and in house at the Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant. The fee is $150 per team.
Rolling Barrel is also pleased to announce that a portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. This nationwide organization offers the millions of Americans young and old with medical advice, support groups, and treatment options for these debilitating diseases.
