America’s Oldest Italian Restaurant to Open 2nd Location in Valley Forge’s Newest Hotel

Something very new is coming to the Main Line but bringing along a very old friend with it. This month, on September 27th, the Sheraton Valley Forge is slated to open at 480 N. Gulph Road in King of Prussia. While the debut of this premium hotel has many eyes focused in its direction, an additional site to set your baby blues (or greens or browns…) on is the brand new eatery tagging along.

One of Philly’s most iconic restaurants, Ralph’s of South Philly, is expanding for the first time ever and decided the new Sheraton Valley Forge would be the best spot. As the oldest Italian restaurant in America, both locals and travelers from afar will be excited to get a taste of this nationally recognized cuisine.

The fifth generation institution will be tweaked slightly, representing itself as a contemporary version of the original. Being America’s oldest Italian restaurant, they will serve many of Ralph’s classics as well as new dishes with a modern twist. The full service restaurant and bar will debut shortly after the opening of the Sheraton Valley Forge, slated to open on Oct. 11, and then, will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 11p.m. — and we’re sure it’ll be a welcomed addition to the bustling Valley Forge area.
