This Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the fall weather, the fine food and the amazing art that West Chester has to offer. Take a stroll through the borough using the walking course provided HERE as your guide, and join the Chamber of Commerce of Greater West Chester for their 22nd Annual Gallery Walk.
The event, held on the first Friday in both June and October, provides the perfect opportunity to experience the historic borough’s blend of urban sophistication and small town ambience. The event is so spectacular that guests return again and again to enjoy all the town has to offer in the way of art, dining and shopping. Visitors delight at seeing the work of local, national and internationally-known painters, sculptors and photographers.
Exhibits over the years, featuring styles from traditional to contemporary and everything in-between, have included sculpture, photography, jewelry, ceramics, textiles, watercolor, acrylics, oil and more. In addition to the eclectic mix of galleries represented during Gallery Walk, the evening also includes a variety of one-night shows designed to focus on the work of an individual or group of artists.
