The Annual Downingtown Good Neighbor Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 8th at 3 p.m. Round up the friends and family for festive fun that gets bigger and better every year. As usual, The Donner Dash, a 1K Fun Run along the Parade route, will take place prior to the big affair.
Holiday happenings will be at every turn as lamp posts are strung with garland, plus lights, bows and banners will line the streets. Don’t forget to stop in and check out the local restaurants and retailers, many of which open early on parade day with special deals and free refreshments. Their store fronts will look festive as well, all done up with evergreens!
The Downingtown Good Neighbor Christmas Parade will feature floats, marching units, antique cars, many bands, and plenty of fire trucks. Most importantly, Santa and Mrs. Claus are set to make their usual appearance in a horse drawn carriage. The Christmas Parade runs along Lancaster Avenue starting at Gable Avenue in the west end of town and ending at Whiteland Avenue in the east. Come on out and get your holiday season off to a good start with the Downingtown Good Neighbor Day Christmas Celebration!
