Come one, come all…and bring food while you’re at it.
The St. Agnes Day Room would greatly appreciate all you have to offer. They serve over 33,000 meals to the poor and homeless and distribute over 2,800 bags of groceries annually throughout Chester County. In case you didn’t pick up on that, they’re dishing out a lot of food, which is where you come in.
There are several ways to participate in the East Goshen Farmers Market food collection. Can you help by performing one or more of the following tasks?
1. Make a food donation for the St. Agnes Day Room at the EGFM Food Collection on September 20th. The Day Room can accept any type of food item including any food items sold at the EGFM – fresh produce, baked items, prepared foods and more. In addition you can bring boxed or canned items from home, or excess from your vegetable garden.
2. Make a monetary donation – please make checks payable to the St. Agnes Day Room. All
monetary donations can be dropped off at the EGFM tent on Thursday, September 20th.
3. Ask your friends, neighbors and co-workers to participate.
4. Recruit your place of business to make a monetary donation.
5. Offer your time to volunteer at the Day Room.
The EGFM is held in East Goshen Park, located on Paoli Pike, just east of Route 352. Donations for St. Agnes will be accepted during market hours on September 20th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
